To mark the Year of Jewish Culture in Saxony in 2026, the Kraszewski Museum is presenting an exhibition dedicated to the legacy of the Jewish communities of Dresden, Wrocław, Warsaw, Łódź and Kraków. The exhibition sheds light on the processes of modernisation that took place in these regions between 1830 and 1930. It pays tribute to the visionary contribution made by people of Jewish origin to the development of the economy, architecture, culture and the arts. We continue to draw on this rich heritage today – often without realising it in our everyday lives. The exhibition invites visitors to rediscover and appreciate these extremely significant historical connections.

In cooperation with the Raczyński Library, the National Museum in Poznań and Hatikva e. V.

The exhibition was realised with financial support from the Foundation for German-Polish Cooperation.
